1920's Tortoise shell handbag with embroidered beads. The shell is the front of the bag with an embossed silk back. The bag opens at four points meaning it opens into a square. Very unusual. Gilt chain handle with gilt clasp. Given its age there is some damage to the silk at the back of the bag. Measures 14 cms deep 22 cms long
