Here at Circa Vintage London our aim is to offer an expertly curated and edited collection of the most desirable antique and designer vintage clothing, jewellery and accessories.

We have the very highest standards when it comes to the quality of our vintage collection, plus we regularly benchmark all our items for sale against other reputable vintage dealers in the UK to ensure we're not just the best in terms of quality, but also on price.

If you feel that any of the items purchased from our website fall short of your expectations, we offer a no quibble returns policy.  Please see our Refunds and Returns section for more details.

Service
All of our customers can expect a professional one-to-one service; we offer impartial style and fitting advice both in our boutique and on line, from helping you select a glamorous outfit for an important occasion to full restoration and cleaning of your couture garments.  As we are experts in the care and restoration of antique and vintage clothing, we have built up a large inventory of scarce materials and supplies such as fabric, buttons, gemstones, sequins, lace and ribbon which we can use to carry out alterations and repairs.  Please get in contact to discuss your requirements.

Alterations
Circa Vintage London prides itself on the quality of in house alterations and the restoration of both our own and customers vintage garments.  We are delighted to announce that work is underway on our new vintage alterations and design studio and more details will be announced shortly.

Selling your Vintage
We are always looking for good quality collectable and wearable antique and vintage garments; however, we buy with our eyes and in almost all cases we will need to see an item before an offer is made.  You can also sell through us on Consignment, please see our guide below.

How To Consign

  • Please ensure that all items have been laundered or dry cleaned and are in very good to pristine condition (please see our Condition Guide for more details) before arranging an appointment to bring them in.  We occasionally make house calls; however, clients will need to have more than 30 items of interest for us to review.
  • Our best sellers are dresses, especially from the 1950s, costume jewellery and handbags. Of course, we are always looking for stand-out pieces from any collection or designer and all pieces must be Circa 1990 or older.
  • We usually keep items for between 3 and 6 months; however, we may continue to hold rare, limited-edition and/or collectable items for a longer period of time. After that, you will have the option to collect all unsold items, have items shipped back to you (Royal Mail delivery rates apply) or donated to London College of Fashion students.
  • All prices will be agreed between the Consignor and Circa Vintage London and the proceeds split 50/50.  Full payment to our clients will be made at the end of the agreed consignment period by either cheque or bank transfer. 
Hiring Vintage
Many of our pieces are available for hire, either by individuals looking for an outfit for a one-time event or stylists and costumiers sourcing rare items for inspiration or productions. 

We take into account the rarity, fragility, desirability, condition and length of hire when pricing individual items for hire.  Please contact us or visit our boutique to discuss in more detail.
