These original early 1970s shorts are a great example of what the famous London boutique Quorum did best - sexy loungewear. The sleek high waisted look is based on earlier 1930s tap pants. Ossie Clark, the most famous of the Quorum designers, based a number of his now iconic designs on 1930s fashions. Although these are unlabelled, these were purchased with a larger group of Alice Pollock, Quorum and Ossie garments and we have other examples from this collection in our shop. I've sold so many items from this boutique over the years included a labelled set that I am very confident they are Alice Pollock. They are made from a shiny peach satin crepe and fasten with two hook and eyes on the waistband as well as with the original side zipper. These are in absolutely amazing condition with no faults of any note and look barely worn if at all. They are quite small and will best fit around a UK size 6-8 or US 2-4.
