Very much in a tea dress style, it has a classic nipped-in waist and mid-calf, flared silhouette. The sleeves have puff-shoulders which give way to a slimmer cut through the arm and they end above the elbow. The top has a sculpted, twisted finish across the front while the skirt has a horizontally panelled construction and a flared bottom hem. The dress is unlined and fastens at the back of the neck with six fabric-covered buttons and fabric loops. It is finished with a fabric belt that is adorned with a bow and fastens with snap closures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is rare to find original dresses from this period, unaltered, and made as well as this. We can't see a single thing worth mentioning about the condition which is superb. No retail or designer labels remain; there is a small size 40 tag by the neck but sizes have changed hugely - please check the measurements below.
