Fantasy tweed is a multi-colour tweed woven to a highly distinct pattern from clashing fibres of different fabrics. In the case of this stunning gown, the tweed has a background of vibrant gold metallic thread with fluffy angora wool in chalk pink and mint green stitched across its surface. This results in a highly tactile handle to the cloth and a fascinating level of detail up-close. The cut of this dress is unusual; the silhouette is graceful with a wide, body-skimming empire-line cut. The skirt falls to the ankle. There is a very wide-neckline and a cut-out detail atop little cap-sleeves which creates an off-shoulder effect. The shoulders and sleeves are each topped with a pretty, gold grosgrain bow.
