Made up of 15 interconnected plates, they are broken up with erratic cracks and textured to look almost scale-like. The overall effect is that of a reptile or snake skin, even down to the way the plates move against each other. Crafted from a gold-toned alloy base metal, the necklace has a soft pale yellow-gold hue and fastens with a snap lock clasp. The rear of this necklace features Trifari’s famous stamp. As the brand stated in their mid-century adverts, “if it isn’t signed, it isn’t Trifari.” Known as “Crown Trifari”, the crown symbol above the T on Trifari followed by the copyright symbol dates this piece to 1955-1969 but we believe this to be mid to late 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis necklace is in very good to excellent vintage condition with the following observed.
