It is a full length, 1960s maxi dress that has a very short Dolman-style sleeve. From the underarm, the Princess seam falls all the way down to the bottom hem. It has a high boat neckline with an unusual piped, padded collar to make a 3D effect. This process has also been repeated on the bottom hem edging, giving the dress a lovely weight and luxurious look. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe fabric is a beautiful quality gold two-tone embossed lame in a chevron design. The dress fastens to the rear with the original metal zip. Overall, the dress is in excellent vintage condition. The only thing of note is that the bottom hem has picked up some wear from touching the floor. It is very minor and cannot be seen unless inspecting the dress very closely. It is labelled a vintage size 12 and this is fairly true to size, perhaps someone more a UK 10-12 or US 6-8 and for a person of tall stature.
