With its shorter hemline and bare midriff, it also evokes the playful designs of Pierre Cardin, Mary Quant and Austrian designer Rudi Gernreich, whose brand oversaw a radical shift in attitudes to fashion and women's liberation. The fabric of the dress itself is a light grey colour with geometric triangle patterns in gold and silver thread.
