The waistband sits high on the waist and fastens on the left hand side with two chunky silver-tone hook-and-eye clasps and a hidden tonal blue zip. The skirt is lined with blue satin. At the waist, the brand’s signature, centuries old leather craftsmanship comes into play. A small white leather belt adorns the front of the waistband, detailed with gold-tone metal buckles, a pattern of tiny perforations and a tie-up front reminiscent of a corset. Labelled a French size 40, the skirt has no stretch. If you have a small waist this could work, otherwise probably better for a US 6 or UK 10 in modern sizing.
