Cut from sapphire-blue mesh, it is tailored to a strapless mini-dress shape with a sweetheart neckline and a boned corset which is a separate piece but fitted inside the dress. The designer's skill and attention-to-detail can be seen in the intricate ribbon-work embellishment which covers the whole of the gown. Forming rose-like forms, the spirals of ribbon are finished with iridescent white and sapphire-blue sequins. The dress fastens at the back with a hidden tonal zip and hook-and-eye clasp.
