It is made from pale-blue silk crepe with lace insertions and a semi-sheer finish. The bust and wide sleeves are detailed with peekaboo panels of white lace, arranged in a chevron pattern across the front. The blue silk stripes across the bust are decorated with tiny flowers, formed from small cutwork holes and tonal embroidery in the style of broderie anglaise. It has a generous, floor-sweeping length, finished with a ruffled hem trimmed in white lace. The slip is unlined.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn truly excellent vintage condition with no issues and would work best for around a UK 10 \/ US 6. There are no labels in the dress but this is a very finely made piece; the fabric has no stretch.
