It has long sleeves with a subtle bell-sleeve and a cuff that fastens with a hammered gold-tone metal button. It has a large rounded collar and a button-down front with a half-placket which closes with three of these glamorous gold buttons. There is a tie under the collar which creates a bow at the front of the neck. The dress has a laid-back, blouse-like fit to the top which is cinched by a waistband and then gives way to a relaxed knee-length skirt. There is a slit in the front side of the skirt which gives it the appearance of a wrap-around fit. The dress is unlined, aside from the shoulder pads.
