{"product_id":"vintage-dior-black-tassle-earrings","title":"ARCHIVE - 1950s Christian Dior Gold and Black Crystal Earrings","description":"\u003cp\u003eOriginal 1950s Christian Dior black crystal and gold tassel earrings.  This is an unusual design by Mitchel Maer who created many exquisite pieces for the London branch of Christian Dior for a short time between 1952 and 1956.  Early Dior examples were approved by Monsieur Dior himself and are some of the most sought-after vintage costume jewellery in the world.  These earrings feature a large facetted black prong set crystal with a neat row of articulated gold-plated chain tassels below.  To the reverse these are signed Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior and have the round drop clip-on fastening.  From tip to toe these are approximately 5 centimetres in length and look remarkably contemporary and equally suited to both day and evening wear.
