The safety pin became a trademark detail of the fashion house and these designs continue to be reinterpreted in more modern collections.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTailored from black cotton, it has an elongated silhouette with vents at the back, for ease of movement. The cuffs are long and are each secured with two dark brown buttons engraved with the brand name. The front of the shirt is secured with coordinating buttons which are hidden under a placket. Adorned with hundreds of gold-tone safety pins across the chest and dotted on the collar, they form a protective, armour-like finish across the chest. It must have taken many hours to do this work as each pin has been attached by hand.
