The floral chiffon of purple, pink, turquoise and yellow against a black background is hand draped and tightly gathered into a low waisted and horizontal ruched bodice with a straight cut neckline. The dramatic, full length pleated taffeta skirt is in a rosebud pink and is full but not over powering. The edge of this underskirt has a panel of fabric with the same print as the bodice. You can only see it when you move or sit but it adds contrast and interest to the taffeta skirt. Labelled with the Valentino boutique label and marked a vintage size 10; this is the pinnacle of high-end ready to wear from the era. Smaller by todays standards and so a best fit for around a size UK 10 or US 6.
