The company was founded during the 1940s and headquartered in New York. The owner had a licence to copy elements of Christian Dior's designs but they were much more affordable. This dress is from a very early period in the label's history, either late 1940s or 1950. Made from a light weight rayon, the dress is shirtwaister style with a v-neck collar and the original fabric covered buttons intact. The cap sleeves have mini shoulder pads and the skirt is box pleated. It fastens at the side with a metal zip.
