The fitted floor length design has beautiful Art Deco style arms and rows of chevron stitched into the fabric around the shoulders and neck. It has a silk crepe lining and two sets of large velvet covered buttons. The coat fastens with three hook and eyes at the base of the V neckline in the centre front and is then open to the hem. A loose fitting design means it could be worn over any outfit and would fit sizes US 6 through to US 10. A striking and unusual piece in excellent vintage condition. The silk velvet has slightly thinned on the chevron stitching atop of the shoulders but this does not detract from the allure of the piece and only mentioned for accuracy.
