Terry de Havilland was the first celebrity shoe designer and and renowned for block platforms when the swinging 60s London scene was at its zenith. His clients were rock n' roll legends including Marianne Faithfull, Led Zeppelin, Bianca Jagger and David Bowie. He designed Tim Curry's footwear in The Rocky Horror Show and his leather thigh high boots were even worn by Jackie Onassis. He opened his boutique ‘Cobblers to the World’ on the Kings Road in 1972. His iconic platforms are still worn today by the likes of Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Lara Stone, Jessie J, Lady GaGa and Rita Ora. He was awarded a Drapers Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to footwear design over the last fifty years.
