Cut in a classic 60s shift shape, it was almost certainly made by someone trained in haute couture construction and sewing techniques. The collar, front seam and the hem all have a beautiful ruffle trim, made of delicate pleated chiffon. The dress falls to just below the knee, and it is lined with a lovely pale shade of blue silk chiffon. It is worth noting that the inside seams have a very generous seam allowance. Fastens to the rear with the original blue metal zip. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe dress is in excellent vintage condition - on very close inspection we noticed a very small hole on the inside lining near the shoulder, though this of course cannot be seen when worn.
