They held exclusive licences with the best French and Italian fashion houses including a partnership with Valentino to sell his new ready to wear lines. The original label reads “Diorling by Christian Dior - London” and is numbered. The provenance of this dress is proven in photographs of the Diorling Spring Collection 1973, where ‘70s model Joanna Love wore it under a short tailored jacket. We also attach a editorial shot from the April issue of Vogue 1973.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCrafted from a thicker pale yellow-cream wool flannel, this fun dress is patterned with geometric, Art Deco-esque forms in black, yellow and green and detailed with bright yellow wool trim at the collar, shoulders and along the drop-waistband. The pleated skirt adds a playful feel to the t-shirt-dress silhouette. A concealed zip secures the back and it is fully lined in cream satin. This dress is in excellent archival vintage condition with no issues of any note. We estimate a best fit for up to sizes UK 10-12 or US 6-8 and smaller. Circa Vintage also has the documented skirt suit which will be available for purchase soon.
