Inspired by “the kinetic art of the 1950s and 1960s” the highly detailed dress is tailored from black silk to a cocooning mini-dress silhouette. It is strapless, held up by a corseted, underwired bust that forms a sweetheart neckline. The dress is exquisitely and intricately embellished all-over in the manner the fashion house has become known for; large perspex paillettes in geometric shapes, studs, beads and embroidery fade from black through burgundy to red at the bottom hem, all set against a black background. At the high empire-waistband is adorned with a quilted satin band and finished with a satin bow at the centre front. The dress is lined with black silk.
