1970s Frank Usher Floral and Bamboo Print Skirt Suit

This is a very well made polyester jersey skirt set by British design house Frank Usher. The attractive print is composed of heavenly trumpet flowers, vine leaves and what appear to be bamboo stems. We particularly like the way that the bamboo stem element of the print is featured in bands around the hem of the sleeves and the jacket. The suit is composed of three elements - a short sleeved shirt, an A-line skirt and the original tie belt, all in coordinating fabric. The central button stand of the shirt has attractive mother of pearl buttons. The skirt does up at the back with the original zipper. All the pieces are in really lovely vintage condition with no faults of any note. The label reads "Frank Usher, Made in Italy by Annaval". It is labelled an Italian 42 and a best fit for a UK 8 to 10 or US 4 to 6.
