1970s Jean Varon Polka Dot Muslin Cotton Maxi Dress

Early 1970s Jean Varon navy and white muslin cotton maxi dress. This design features two contrasting prints in polka dots and then a horizontal striped print that embellishes the collar, cuffs and flounce hemline. The dress is front fastening and has a hidden zip from the top of the collar that goes down to around the low waist point. It has a darted empire line waistband, and the skirt is very flared. It has long, gathered cuffs that are finished with three fabric covered buttons. It is made from a muslin and cotton blend but has a very slight, sheer look to it.

Overall in really great vintage condition, no issues of any note. The dress is clean and ready to wear. No size label is present but we estimate this would fit up to UK 10-12 or US 6-8.
