1980s Yves Saint Laurent Patron Dress
This wonderful 1980's possibly early 1990's dress is from Yves Saint Laurent's Patron line and therefore boasts masterful couture construction and an exceptional finish. Made of heavy silk brocade, the flared elbow length flounce sleeves and hem are trimmed with several tiers of fine net and stiffened net with beautiful black sequin embroidered tulle over the top. The dress is covered in an abstract peony pattern and has the appearance of an 18th-century court dress. See below for more info. Excellent condition.
