Charming Yves Saint Laurent Variation 1980s cotton peasant dress with dropped waist and billowed sleeves. The dress is 100% crisp cotton fabric in block colours ochre, warm rust and black, with a gentle scoop neck and voluminous selves that are neatly cuffed at the elbow. The dress is gathered below the neckline, falling into a classic smock shape with more gentle gathering atop a large tier beginning at the mid thigh. There are concealed, deep pocket details at the waist. The dress is marked a French size 38 which equates to a US size 6 and UK 10. it is in excellent vintage condition and given the generous nature of the cut would suit a variety of sizes. This flexibility could easily be styled with a belt to create a different look if desired.
