Chanel 1970s Robert Goossens for Chanel Pair of Gold Cuff Bracelets

This stunning pair of Chanel cuffs pre-date 1971 before the house trademarked jewellery lines. Early Chanel pieces were haphazardly signed and before 1954 not at all. Although this is a rarer cartouche signature, these bracelets are genuine and were purchased from a haute couture auction in Paris many years ago.

The gold tone cuff bracelets with chain link detail are in impeccable vintage condition. The chains are fastened at either side of each cuff so that there is movement when worn. The designer's signature can be found at the centre reverse of one of the pieces. This identifying plate was only used for pieces made by Robert Goossens. Would best suit a slim wrist but they could be adjusted if required.
