1970s Angela Gore Floral Boho Maxi Dress
This original 1970s boho maxi dress is by upmarket British boutique label Angela Gore has a really fantastic mixed floral print; we can identify fuchsias and snowbells amongst others. It has an empire waistband and a floor length A-line skirt with a deep gathered flounce. This is edged in black lace.
The sleeves are bell shaped with an elasticated cuff. The dress has a wide scoop neck which is also elasticated and edged in the same black lace. There is a flared tie belt from the sides and the dress fastens to the rear with the original metal zip. The cotton is a type of mousseline cotton and is very slightly sheer hence the dress has been lined in white acetate. The sleeves have been lined in white nylon tulle. Labelled Angela Gore London. The dress will fit a variety of sizes up and a best fit for up to a UK 12 or US 8. In fantastic vintage condition, no issues of any note.
