1970s Wool Paisley Liberty Print Dress

Original 1970s to early 1980s Liberty paisley print dress in earth tones of turquoise blue, purple, forest green, red, white and black. The label reads Thomas and Jonathan of Canterbury who manufactured excellent quality garments using Liberty fabrics which were retailed in the store and at select boutiques. In a wonderful lightweight and ultra fine pure wool fabric, the dress is a classic shirtwaister design with 6 faux mother of pearl buttons to the waist which is elasticated, button cuffs, tapered sleeves and 2 side seam pockets with matching belt detail. A spare button is attached to the label.

A very costly garment in its day and in excellent vintage condition with no issues. We estimate a best fit for UK size 10-12 or US 6-8.
