1950s Alfred Shaheen Turquoise Cotton Dress
Bright bold and unusual cotton 1950s dress from American designer Alfred Shaheen, who was credited with popularising the Hawaiian shirt. This piece features a fine gold and silver print with a wide waistband and tie at the back. The shape around the bust is kept in place with elastic on the inside of the bodice and there are two large pockets to the hips. Great fun and in excellent condition, it fastens at the back with a zip.
