1960s Christian Dior Purple Skirt Suit with Beaded Trim

Fabulous 1960s skirt suit by Christian Dior for American department store Stanley Korshak. This unusual purple fine wool suit has a tiny ribbon woven through the outer fabric giving the suit a sparkly look and is trimmed with beautiful midnight blue beading. Inside both skirt and jacket are fully lined in a coordinating silk lining and the suit is in excellent condition with no noticeable flaws. A luxurious outfit for any occasion, the double breasted jacket fastens at the front with covered buttons and the skirt fastens at the back with a zip.
