1970s Ossie Clarke Black Moss-Crepe Waspie Dress
Original 1970s Ozzie Clark for Radley moss crepe waspie dress. This is a classic Ozzie design that has made him one of the most enduring and admired fashion designers of the 20th century. It features a deep v neck and is seamed under the bust with a very fitted and buttoned elongated waistline. The covered central fastening buttons go beyond the waist and finish around hip level. The sleeves are gently gathered and finish with a buttoned and tapered cuff.
The black crepe is in really excellent vintage condition, these Ozzie’s were often loved and worn to death but this one has seen little wear in its lifetime. There are no repairs, and it appears to be the original length - many were shortened. As good as it gets for a 1970s Ozzie Clark and labelled a UK 12 which is probably a best fit for a size UK 10 or US 6 in modern sizing.
