1930s Gold Plated Mother of Pearl Ballerina Brooch

This is a very sweet handcrafted art deco era 1920s or 1930s ballerina brooch which has been hand painted onto Mother of Pearl. The circular brooch is edged in a looped design and features a trombone clasp to the back that is typically used in antique French pieces. Much of the gold plating has worn to reveal that this piece was crafted in copper. In lovely antique condition with no significant faults other than the loss of the gold plating.
