1950s Golden Yellow Floral Jacquard Dress with Train

Original 1950s floral jacquard column dress with double train. The fabric of this dress is sensational and it catches the light beautifully; it is almost silver looking against a raised floral element outlined in deep golden yellow. This dress is very nicely tailored with a scoop neck, fitted bodice and darted ankle length skirt. The underside of the train is lined in a golden egg yoke satin. Fully lined in acetate, the dress has a pleasing weight and feel.

Although unlabelled this is a quality piece and may have been bespoke made by a dressmaker. Best fit for up to a UK 8, US 4 and in excellent vintage condition with no noticeable flaws. Would make a fantastic alternative wedding dress or a great choice for a summer party.
