1960s Lavish Cream Silk Embellished Cocktail or Bridal Dress

Extraordinary 1960's pure silk shift dress is perfect in its simplicity and is a fine example of timeless, understated glamour. This beautiful piece is fully embellished in silver and champagne tones in tiny rocaille detail. The classic line falls beautifully over the waist and hip, arriving neatly just above the knee. The dress is fully lined, 100% silk and with a full-length, concealed, centre back zip. There is no label present, however, it is very well made and in excellent condition. There is very minor bead loss as to be expected with an original dress from this era but does not detract in any way from the dress. Best fits a US maximum size 6 or UK 10 equivalent. It would make a fantastic alternative bridal dress.
