1960s Lilli Ann Black and White Wool Tweed Coat with Black Fox Trim
This chic late 1950s to early 1960s a-line coat is by high-end American apparel company Lilli Ann; a brand who was celebrated for their beautiful, elaborately designed suits and coats. This A-line three-quarter length coat is a perfect example of the quality and style which popularised the brand. Tailored from thick black and white Herringbone tweed, it has a double-breasted silhouette with a cocooning cut. The front closes with eight high-shine black circular buttons. It has a neat, collared neckline. The stand out detail is the theatrical black fox for trim that encircles the bottom hem. The coat is lined with thick black satin. The original label reads “Lilli Ann San Francisco Paris”.
In pristine vintage condition, this piece is a truly elegant find. It has no size or composition label so please check the below measurements carefully. We believe this would fit a range of sizes all the way up to a UK 12, US 8.
