1970s Doree Leventhal Navy and White Knitted Maxi Dress

1970s Doree Leventhal navy and white machine knit maxi Dress. A great design from a high-end British boutique label featuring a low scoop neck and double tiered ruffle collar which is overlaid by a finer, almost cobweb-like, white knitted frill. The bodice features a tie to align the ruffle neckline and a sexy and deep V buttoned design with two faux Mother of Pearl buttons. The skirt has a high, inverted waistline with a floor length A-line profile. The knit is very fine and interspersed with rows of small triangular shaped eyelets. Only the skirt portion is lined in a fluid navy jersey fabric.

The composition label reads ‘100% Acrylic, Made in England’ and is machine washable. This is a best fit for around UK 6 – 8 or US 2 - 4 but it has some stretch. Condition is excellent and the dress is cleaned and ready to wear.
