1990s Yves Saint Laurent Black Velvet Jacket with Filigree Buttons

This 1990s Yves Saint Laurent black cotton velvet jacket is a classic example of his beautiful tailored evening wear from the period but could easily be worn during the day and layered with patterned dresses or skirts for a less formal look. The jacket is collar-less and French-seamed to just below the waistband, with two front slits. The buttons are highly decorative and feature gunmetal silver filigree work, each studded with tiny diamantes. The jacket is lined in high quality black sateen and the composition label notes 70% cotton 30% viscose Made in France. In absolutely beautiful vintage condition, no issues of any note. It is marked a French 40 which equates to a UK 10-12 but also looks good on a size 8 due to the fitted style.
