Early and Impressive 1980s Chanel Green Gripoix and Rhinestone Earrings

These very early 1980s Chanel earrings are beautifully made and an impressive size. All the rhinestones are individually prong set encircling a large green cabochon glass stone. Unusually for gripoix poured glass, this has an uneven surface but is smooth to the touch. Fully stamped with Chanel and Made in France, these clip earrings are 1.25 inches across 1.5 inches long. Lightweight relative to their size, they are in excellent condition with some minor guild loss and scratches on the rear - unseen when worn.
