1970s White Cotton Embroidered Hungarian Blouse

This is a well executed and handmade embroidered 1970s Hungarian blouse and is well above average in terms of technique and embellishment. The main flowers are in beautiful shades of pink with smaller blue and purple embroidered flowers. The sleeves and neckline have colourful bands of smocking and a little ruffle trim has been formed on the sleeve edge. There are two popper closures as well as hook and eyes to fasten the blouse at the side. The piece is V necked with a red embroidery twisted thread at the neckline. The blouse is in really nice vintage condition. Whilst not an original 1930s piece, this is a really nice example from a later era and will fit comfortably up to UK size 10 or US size 6.
