Hermès Belle Chasse 90cm Silk Scarf by J. de Livares

Chic and timeless Hermes vintage silk twill printed scarf 'Belle Chasse' which translates as Good Hunt. Designed by Henri de Linares, one of Hermes first design collaborators, who was the Head Curator of the Gien Museum of Hunting. The scarf was first released in 1963 and this is the much-favoured French blue border colourway. Marked with the Copyright Symbol after Hermes-Paris.

Very good vintage condition overall. Colours very fresh and bright and the hand-rolled hem very plump. Very light use with two pinhead size faint marks of no consequence, no pulls. There is a small sticker size water mark to the reverse in the bottom left-hand corner but this cannot be seen at all on the front. Presents very well indeed for earlier Hermes.
