1950s Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior Crystal Teardrop Earrings

These sensational 1950s crystal teardrop earrings are by Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior and are in superb vintage condition. Each piece is comprised of gold tone metal fashioned into an ornate cluster of prong set crystal rhinestones and pearlescent beads. There are 3 x charms suspended from each culminating in a large teardrop crystal rhinestone. The signature is located on the reverse of the central teardrop and there is a lever clip fastening to secure. Timelessly beautiful, these would look elegant paired with an evening gown or with a more casual ensemble.
