1970s Biba Chestnut Brown Velvet Maxi Dress With Lace Embellishments

This seductive 1970s velvet maxi dress in rich chestnut brown is by popular British label Biba and is in lovely vintage condition. The dress is a slip style with thin shoulder straps and features front facing ivory lace details over the bust. Ruffled lace trim runs along seams below the bust and atop of the neckline, meeting at the centre reverse of the dress, where there is a concealed zip fastening. This lovely dress is wonderfully adaptable, and could be dressed up or down as either evening wear or daywear. Would best suit a US size 4-6, 8-10.
