1950s Haute Couture Jacques Fath Straw Fascinator Hat

This finely woven straw fascinator hat is rimmed with a ruched cherry red band made from 100% silk jersey. The interior has a straw covered wire frame to help keep the hat secure on the head. Jacques Fath was a leading French couturier from 1937-1952 and designed costumes for the iconic film ‘The Red Shoes’. In excellent vintage condition and will fit a variety of sizes.
