1960s Christian Dior Yellow Mod Style Swing Coat With Oversized Button Detail

This chic 1960s citrus yellow Mod style swing coat is by Christian Dior London and is beautifully cut in excellent vintage condition. Straight cut and comprised of a thick silk blend linen fabric and fully lined in matching yellow silk, it features long sleeves, a pointed collar, and 2 x gorgeous oversized lucite buttons at the centre front - slightly offset to the left. There is ornamental stitching at the front of the piece that is geometrically co-ordinated to create 2 x large squares, one atop of the other once the coat is fastened. The seams where the two squares meet are cleverly aligned into 3 x parallel seams that accentuate the waistline. This stylish coat is a versatile, truly timeless piece and would best suit up to a US size 6, UK size 10.
