1970s Tricosa Gold Ombre Iridescent Jersey Lame Trapeze Dress

This is a fantastic lightweight, jersey lame caftan style dress from the 1970s boutique label Tricosa Paris and of course, is made in France. This dress fastens with a row of fabric covered matching buttons and has 2 belt holes at the front side seams emerging from the trapeze shaped panels of fabric. This gown is all about movement; the eye catching ombre shades of yellow, gold and orange in the metallic yarn are stunning. The yarn is actually darker shades of gold and red but they work together to provide the ombre shades of pink.

Over the condition is very good. Older belts don't age very well but this one, backed with vinyl, is in excellent condition with just a small amount of wear on the fabric covered buckle. The dress has a couple of tiny professionally repaired holes that were only seen on very close inspection. Because of the draping effect of the dress, these do not detract in any way and they are found to the rear lower section of the dress. This is extremely versatile in terms of sizing as there is a huge amount of fabric but we have been guided in our measurements by the belt being done up on the dress. If you were to use your own belt, the measurements would be much more generous than below. This will fit all sizes XS, UK 6 up to XL or UK 16. This equates in US sizing to US 2-12.
