1970s Cotton Paisley Print Handkerchief Dress

Original late 1970s muslin cotton dress, probably made for the boutique market. All over large format paisley print in muted shades of blues, turquoise, beige and gold. The deep V neck has an interesting tie feature and the bertha collar wraps around the neckline creating V-shaped cap sleeves. High waisted, the dress is fitted around the bodice and has an ankle length asymmetric handkerchief hem. Fastens to the rear with a concealed zip and in great vintage condition - no issues. The design label is no longer in the dress but there is a continental sizing label (size 40) which roughly equates to a UK size 10-12 or US 6-8.
