1990s Caroline Charles Burnout Devore Velvet Silk Jacket
This is a striking Caroline Charles burnout velvet silk jacket, complete with vibrant autumnal colours for the colder seasons. It is cut in a loose, flowing shape with a simple high neck collar, and has draped, loose sleeves which gather at the cuff and are fastened with two silk covered buttons on either side.
The shoulders are slightly padded for a classic early 1990s structured look, and the fabric features shades of rust, deep burgundy, raspberry pink and purple velvet, in an abstract swirl pattern. The jacket would be perfect for layering over long skirts and dresses, or with a black turtleneck. It is in immaculate vintage condition with no faults or marks to note. Labelled a UK 14, it would suit anywhere between a UK 10-14 or US 6-10, due to its loose, relaxed silhouette.
