1960s YSL Gold Brocade Coat
Absolutely phenomenal 1960s coat form Yves Saint Laurent, made in a beautiful floral motif gold brocade with a metallic gold thread running throughout. This piece features four elaborate and decorative buttons down the front and actually fastens with poppers behind each button. It has pockets at hip level in the side seams and is fully lined in a pale gold silk lining. It is labelled size 12 (but would probably fit a modern size 10 over clothes) YSL Paris, made in France for I. Magnin & Co Los Angeles. Suitable for all seasons this striking A line coat is very collectable and in excellent condition.
