Circa is a London-based archival fashion destination specialising in designer archives, couture archive pieces, and museum-quality vintage. Our collection spans the late 19th century to the present day, with a focus on historically significant garments from the world’s leading fashion houses. Unlike general vintage stores, Circa operates as a working fashion archive, supplying archival vintage to museums, collectors, stylists, fashion houses, and private clients. Circa’s collection comprises some of the rarest documented and archival vintage fashion, preserved for its historical, cultural, and design significance. The archive includes museum-quality garments by Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino, and other leading fashion houses, many in exceptional or near-pristine condition. Spanning from early Victorian and Edwardian dress to contemporary designer work, the collection includes 1920s lace and rhinestone flapper gowns, 1930s silk chiffon eveningwear, 1970s Ossie Clark designs, iconic 1980s Thierry Mugler, and early-2000s Christian Dior gowns by John Galliano. Circa also holds one of the largest collections of vintage Hermès scarves in the UK, with over 50 designs in stock.
