REFUNDS & RETURNS

In the UK, online purchases can be cancelled and returned within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, while in-store purchases only require a refund or exchange if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel, add or remove items from your order, either by email shop@circavintage.com or telephone: +44 (0)20 7736 5038 as it may be possible to do this prior to dispatch.

If you'd like to add products to your order, please place a new order for these items and where possible we will combine orders for shipping.

If your order has already been dispatched or delivered, then you'll need to follow our Returns procedure in the event of any unwanted items. You can also of course return them to us personally or by courier to our shop during normal opening hours.


 MISSING, INCOMPLETE OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If your order has been dispatched but hasn't arrived within the expected time period, or is missing items please email shop@circavintage.com or telephone: +44 (0)20 7736 5038.

If your order arrives and the goods are damaged in transit, please contact us for additional information on our Returns procedure.


 RETURNS PROCEDURE

We hope you’ll love every Circa Vintage purchase you make; however you may decide that you need to return your item(s) for a refund. Please follow this process:

  • Go to circavintage.com and log in to your customer account.
  • Navigate to your order history.
  • Click on the order containing the item(s) you want to return.
  • Look for "Request Return" option.
  • Choose the specific items from the order that you wish to return. Add a reason or any additional notes.
  • Complete the process by clicking the "Request Return" button to submit your request to the store.

If you are in the UK and you cancel and return your order within 14 days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations.

If you are outside the UK, we cannot refund your postage costs on a returned item.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - please note we are not responsible for any customs fee payable. Should you choose not to pay any relevant customs fees, the parcel will be returned to us. On receipt we will refund only the item cost, retaining postage costs as well as deducting any administration costs or those imposed by your choice of courier.

If you paid for premium, express or international delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard UK delivery unless your order was damaged in transit for which separate procedures are in place.

You will usually have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us. We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the seven days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order.

We request that all returns are neatly folded and returned in a saleable condition with all store tags attached and free from odour; If items have been worn or damaged we reserve the right not to refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Depending on the size and weight of your order, you can make UK returns in person, via our online shop, Royal Mail, or using a courier such as DHL or Fedex (see below).


RETURNS VIA OUR SHOP

Simply email us on shop@circavintage.com to arrange a return or exchange via our shop - Circa Vintage, 87a Lansdowne Way, London, SW8 2PB, United Kingdom. We are only open by appointment.

Please make sure you also bring the payment card you originally used to buy the items. If you don't have your receipt, order confirmation or payment card, we'll give you a credit note to the value of the original price unless we are running a promotion, in which case, we will adjust the value of the credit note.


 DOMESTIC RETURNS VIA ROYAL MAIL

If you are returning an order within the UK, we recommend shipping your parcel back to us via Royal Mail. Please keep in mind:

  • Return Postage – We recommend using Royal Mail’s Tracked or Special Delivery service for security.
  • Tracking & Proof of Postage – Always retain your proof of postage and tracking number until your return has been received and confirmed.
  • Condition of Items – All vintage pieces must be returned in the same condition they were sent, with tags (if attached) intact and carefully packaged.
  • Processing – Once your return is received, it will be inspected and processed within 72 hours. Refunds will be confirmed via email.
  • Insurance for High-Value Pieces – For items of significant value, we strongly recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, which provides next-day delivery and insurance cover.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS VIA DHL

If you are returning an order from outside the UK, we recommend shipping your parcel back to us via DHL International. Please note the following:

  • Customs Declarations – When sending your return, it must be clearly marked as a "Return of Goods" on the customs form. This ensures that duties and taxes are not incorrectly reapplied when the parcel re-enters the UK.
  • Return Shipping Costs – International return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. DHL will advise you of their rates when arranging collection.
  • Tracking & Delivery – Once dispatched, your return will be fully trackable through DHL’s system. Please retain your tracking number until we confirm receipt.
  • Processing – Once your parcel arrives with us, we will inspect the pieces and process your return or exchange. Please allow up to 10 business days for this to be completed.
  • Important Note – Any customs fees, duties, or handling charges mistakenly applied to a return will be deducted from the refund amount.

 REFUNDS ON RETURNED ITEMS

You will receive an email notification when your return is received and we will aim to process your return within 72 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 10 business days from receipt for the funds to be returned, depending on card issuer. We will refund the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order.

Refunds for any items received as a gift, returned in this way, will be credited on to the ordering customer’s credit, debit, Charge Card or Gift Card.
